Dennis Miracles Aboagye, spokesperson for NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's campaign, announced that over 40 hospitals built under President Nana Addo's Agenda 111 project are ready for commissioning.
Speaking on Joy News, he confirmed that 45 to 47 hospitals will be fully operational by year-end, with several in the Ashanti Region.
The Agenda 111 initiative, costing around $7.65 billion, aims to expand Ghana’s healthcare with 104 hospitals, including regional and psychiatric facilities.
Aboagye highlighted Dr. Bawumia's commitment to completing the remaining projects if elected in 2024.
