Sammy Adu Boakye, Chairman of the Heal Komfo Anokye project, has expressed concern over insufficient contributions for the redevelopment of Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
Despite plans to complete Block A by year-end, funds have been lacking, exacerbated by the cedi's depreciation and escalating prices.
Boakye highlighted KATH's critical role in healthcare, stressing the need for collective effort.
So far, contributions have come from a few churches, MPs, and Muslims. He urged the general public to support the project to alleviate the healthcare burden and improve services.
