Authorities at the Bekwai Municipal hospital have submitted blood samples of a man suspected to have died from the deadly Ebola virus to the Center for Tropical Medicine at the Kwame Nkrumah University.
Ghana has tested several suspected Ebola cases all of which have proved negative.
Starr News checks at the Bekwai hospital reveals that authorities directed its officers not to go close to the deceased following fears of a possible Ebola case.
Officials say the hospital is not equipped with Personal Protective Equipment to handle suspected cases of the deadly Ebola Virus.
The world's largest outbreak of Ebola has caused 2,800 deaths so far, mainly in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone with more than 4,500 people affected.
