The president of the Ghana Taekwondo Federation (GTF), Frederick Lartey Otu, has debunked as outright falsehood, accusations of bias levelled against his management in the selection of athletes to compete at the ongoing Olympics qualifiers in Agadir, Morocco.
The scope of the scoff was when Charles Alex Cromwell who is ranked fifth in Africa and 60th expressed his dissatisfaction towards the GTF as he was left out of the team that went to Morocco to participate in the Olympic qualifiers.
The president has also come out to refute the allegations made he said ” far from being the case on the ground, the selection of athletes for the Morocco Olympics qualifiers was handled by the national technical committee headed by the technical director, Mr. Joseph Brako and whose competence is not in doubt”.
These revelations have arisen because of the failure of the taekwondo athletes, not being able to qualify for the upcoming Olympic games in Rio.
