The NDC Minority in Parliament is criticizing the NPP’s presidential campaign for using the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to invite diplomats to a Bawumia campaign meeting.
North Tongu MP Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa argues this violates diplomatic protocols and misuses the Foreign Ministry for political purposes.
He claims it undermines the credibility of state institutions and disrupts their functions.
Ablakwa also noted that the NDC would not use this approach and criticized the NPP for setting a poor precedent.
The NDC plans to call the Foreign Minister before Parliament to address the issue.
