Movement for Change Founder and Presidential Candidate, Alan Kyeremanten, has pledged to waive import duties on spare parts during his first two years in office if elected President in 2024.

Addressing artisans in Tamale during his Northern Regional tour, Kyeremanten highlighted the collapse of the spare parts industry due to high import duties. He emphasized that his policy would make replacement parts more affordable and support local artisans.

Additionally, he aims to transform Ghana’s natural resources into finished products, benefiting various industries.

Kyeremanten criticized the major political parties for failing the masses and encouraged voters to make history by electing him as the first independent President of Ghana.
