NDC National Chairman Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has criticized the NPP for downplaying the party's proposed 24-hour economy, likening it to the NPP's own double-track system in schools, which manages overcrowding by using shifts.
Speaking in Akuapem South during his tour of the Eastern Region, Nketiah argued that just as the shift system works in education, the 24-hour economy would create jobs for the youth through a similar approach.
He accused the NPP of dismissing the idea while ignoring its potential to introduce innovative solutions to unemployment.
