Sam George, MP for Ningo Prampram, has strongly warned the government against selling the Saglemi Housing Project to private developers.
He emphasized that the land was given to the government by the Chiefs of Ningo for a public housing project, not for private sale.
George accused President Akufo-Addo, Vice President Bawumia, and Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah of attempting to transfer the land to cronies without consulting local leaders.
He vowed that the people of Ningo would resist any such move and cautioned potential buyers to avoid involvement, as the community will defend its land.
