Members and supporters of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), have been urged to hold together and demonstrate courage in the face of the challenges resulting from the sudden demise of President John Evans Atta Mills.
Mr. Akwasi Twumasi, the Atwima-Mponua Constituency Chairman of the party, said the greatest tribute they could pay to the late President was to retain political power in the December general elections.
He was addressing supporters who thronged the NDC’s constituency office at Nyinahin to mourn the President.
Mr. Twumasi told them not to allow their spirit to be dampened by the death of their late leader.
President Mills had left a strong legacy and this must be built on to make life better for all Ghanaians, he added.
The District Chief Executive (DCE), Mrs. Theresa Adomako Tawiah said the nation had been robbed of a great leader by his death.**
