Ghana’s Parliament has been adjourned indefinitely by Speaker Alban Bagbin after NPP MPs, who had initiated the session, failed to attend and provide an agenda.
The Business Committee, responsible for setting the session's topics, did not meet due to their absence, leaving no order paper for discussion.
Bagbin expressed disappointment, noting that despite a quorum, there was no business to address.
This adjournment reflects ongoing tensions between the Majority and Minority caucuses, and it’s uncertain when Parliament will reconvene to tackle pending issues, leaving the legislative agenda in limbo.
