Former President John Mahama has criticized Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia for focusing on digitalization rather than economic issues in the current campaign.
In response, Dr. Bawumia defended his digital agenda, launching a new ride-hailing platform called "Go Ride" in Accra.
He highlighted that digital innovation is crucial to economic growth, pointing out that major tech companies like Uber and Apple are worth more than Ghana’s economy.
Bawumia emphasized the need for Ghana to embrace digital tools like the Ghana Card, QR codes, and mobile interoperability to stay competitive in the global digital revolution.
