Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, NPP Flagbearer, has pledged to tackle unemployment in Ghana by training one million youth in digital skills.

Addressing party supporters at the Ofie Mega Walk in Akropong on August 3, 2024, he emphasized job creation as a top priority.

Bawumia's plan aims to equip youth with digital skills, enabling them to secure global employment opportunities without needing a university degree.

He highlighted that this initiative will empower Ghanaian youth to compete in the global digital economy, allowing them to work remotely for companies in countries like the USA, Canada, Japan, and the UK while living in Ghana.
