Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, NPP’s vice-presidential candidate, has announced that nurses will be allowed to import cars with engine capacities below 1.8 for free if Dr. Mahamadu Bawumia becomes president in 2025.
Speaking at the Korle Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training Institute, he emphasized the NPP’s commitment to improving nurses' lives by offering free car imports and maintaining the nursing trainee allowance.
He warned that the allowance would be scrapped if the opposition, led by former President John Mahama, wins. Prempeh also highlighted the ongoing Agenda 111 hospital projects, promising job opportunities for health workers.
