The Member of Parliament for Binduri, Abdulai Abanga, has accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) of orchestrating an attack on a New Patriotic Party (NPP) branded vehicle in the constituency.
On Monday, three masked men reportedly poured petrol into the MP’s campaign vehicle and set it ablaze after shooting into it.
Abanga claims the attack is politically motivated, reflecting threats from their political opponents.
However, the Upper East Regional Communications Director of the NDC, Abdallah Salifu, has denied any involvement, condemning the incident and calling for an investigation.
