Haruna Iddrisu
Former Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu, has called for an immediate audit of all biometric devices the Electoral Commission (EC) plans to use for the 2024 election.
This demand comes after the NDC's call for a forensic audit of the voters' register. Mr. Iddrisu also expressed concerns about the illegal transfer of voters from Pusiga to his constituency.
He emphasized the need for a technical audit of the biometric devices and suggested that the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission should provide information on the readiness of the devices.
Additionally, NDC Member of Parliament for South Dayi, Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor, criticized errors in the parliamentary nomination forms published by the Electoral Commission and called for amendments to be made.
