DRIP was not financed by MPs Common Fund – Oti Regional Minister insits

Oti Regional Minister Daniel Machator has refuted claims that the District Roads Improvement Programme (DRIP) was funded by MPs' Common Funds.

He stated that the government funded the project to enhance road infrastructure in the region.

At the equipment commissioning in Dambai, Machator explained that DRIP, backed by President Akufo-Addo, provides various construction tools to improve road access, food security, and job creation.

Each district in Oti will receive essential machinery and materials, while additional equipment will be available regionally. The Krachi East Municipal Chief Executive welcomed the project’s impact on local development.
