Mavis Hawa Koomson, MP for Awutu Senya East, has pledged to ensure a peaceful and violence-free election in December 2024.
This comes after gun violence marred the 2020 elections in the constituency.
Speaking after leading a peace walk through Kasoa's streets, Koomson emphasized her commitment to maintaining calm, stating she would resist any attempts at violence.
She also highlighted the achievements of the NPP government and urged constituents to support her re-election.
Samuel Abu Jinapor, MP for Damongo, praised Koomson’s efforts, urging continued support for her leadership.
