Alhassan Suhuyini, MP for Tamale North, has downplayed the impact of Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh's selection as running mate to NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Speaking on Channel One TV's The Big Issue, Suhuyini argued that this choice would not change the country's current dire situation, citing Bawumia's perceived ineffectiveness.
He emphasized that regardless of Bawumia's partner, the challenges of making ends meet and affording basic necessities would persist.
Suhuyini questioned the significance of selecting a "driver's mate," implying it would have little impact on the nation's difficulties.
