Election 2024: We’ll protect ballot boxes with our lives – Opare Addo

George Opare Addo, National Youth Organiser of the NDC, has vowed to prevent any ballot box theft during the 2024 elections, citing their successful defense of ballot boxes in the Assin North by-election.

Speaking at the NDC’s campaign launch in Tamale on July 27, 2024, he warned that the party will confront any such attempts and protect the vote with their lives.

He also urged the Electoral Commission to ensure fairness, expressing confidence in John Dramani Mahama’s leadership.

Opare Addo emphasized that the NDC aims to win the election honestly and safeguard the democratic process.
