Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s campaign team has dismissed claims by pastors predicting victory for NDC flagbearer John Dramani Mahama in the upcoming December 7 elections.
Speaking to Citi News, Anthony Karbo, a senior aide to Dr. Bawumia, labeled such prophecies as mere predictions, expressing skepticism about their prevalence in Africa compared to other regions like the U.S. or Europe.
Karbo emphasized the team’s commitment to its campaign strategy and voter engagement, undistracted by external commentary.
“We saw similar predictions about Kamala Harris and Donald Trump in past elections, and they didn’t align with the outcomes,” Karbo noted, reinforcing the team's focus on electoral strategy over speculative prophecies.
