Ghana will host the 6th Ordinary Session of the Gulf of Guinea Commission on August 6, 2024, in Accra.
Themed “Building a Secure and Prosperous Gulf of Guinea Region for Sustainable Development,” the summit aims to evaluate progress and propose measures for enhancing cooperation, peace, security, and sustainable development among member states.
The Gulf of Guinea Commission focuses on conflict prevention and resource management.
Preceding the summit are meetings of the Council of Ministers and the Committee of Experts on August 5 and 4, respectively.
