Nana Ohene Ntow, a campaign aide for the Movement for Change, has criticized the government for not halting the sale of SSNIT hotels, particularly Labadi Beach Hotel, to Rock City Hotel.
During an interview on Channel One TV, he argued against the sale, noting Labadi Beach Hotel's consistent profitability, including a GHC25 million dividend to SSNIT in 2022.
Ntow deemed the sale "improper" and called for President Akufo-Addo to intervene, emphasizing the need to protect state assets and respect public and workers' sentiments regarding their pension funds.
He urged the government to reconsider the transaction and listen to public opposition.
