John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has stated that he does not plan to abolish the Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) if elected president.
Instead, he intends to strengthen the OSP by providing more resources and measures to enhance its effectiveness in combating corruption.
Mahama also proposed setting up an independent office to scrutinize government procurements exceeding a $5 million threshold, aimed at ensuring transparency and accountability in public spending.
