Cynthia Morrison, the Agona West MP contesting as an independent candidate, stated she remains a lawmaker for the NPP during a press conference on November 7.
The Majority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, criticized the NDC for chaos in Parliament, claiming the Speaker, Alban Bagbin, enabled lawlessness by supervising their actions.
Bagbin had to adjourn Parliament indefinitely due to a lack of quorum caused by the absence of NPP MPs, who had previously requested an emergency recall without presenting the necessary business order.
Ato Forson, leader of the NDC caucus, noted that NPP members failed to attend the Business Committee meeting, leading to further confusion and frustration.
