I’m unbothered by petition to declare my seat vacant – Amenfi Central MP

Peter Yaw Kwakye-Ackah, MP for Amenfi Central, has dismissed concerns about a petition filed by the Minority caucus to declare his seat vacant.

Kwakye-Ackah, who is running as an independent candidate in the 2024 parliamentary elections, said his decision stems from dissatisfaction with the National Democratic Congress (NDC), particularly over its endorsement of his opponent.

He criticized the party for unfair treatment, including the handling of the parliamentary primary, and expressed confidence in his independent candidacy, stating he will continue if his constituents support him.
