The National Democratic Congress (NDC) is withholding some of its identified discrepancies in the electoral process from the Electoral Commission (EC), according to Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, NDC’s Director of Elections and IT.
At an IPAC meeting on October 1, Dr. Boamah said the NDC is taking a cautious approach, revealing only select evidence.
While the EC accepted three out of five discrepancies presented by the NDC, Dr. Boamah called for a forensic audit of the voter register and EC’s IT systems to ensure transparency, citing unresolved cases like that of a voter named Ernest Ofori.
