Nana Yaw Sarpong, an aide to Alan Kyerematen, has expressed concern over the New Patriotic Party (NPP) potentially losing the December 7 elections under the leadership of its General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua.
Speaking on Angel FM, Sarpong acknowledged Kodua as a promising politician but attributed the party’s likely defeat to the leadership of its flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
He claimed Bawumia's candidacy is harming the NPP’s chances.
Sarpong suggested that while the NPP may face opposition, Alan Kyerematen’s anticipated victory could provide consolation for Kodua and his supporters.
