Joana Gyan cleared to contest in Amenfi Central as Court lifts injunction

His Lordship George K. Gyan-Kontoh presided over the case, which had been adjourned previously at the request of Edudzie Tamakloe, Cudjoe’s lead counsel.

Tamakloe urged a timely review to prevent Cudjoe’s disqualification and potential disenfranchisement.

While the judge encouraged an out-of-court settlement, the parties ultimately proceeded to a ruling.

With the injunction now lifted, Cudjoe is officially cleared to participate in the December 7 election. She expressed gratitude for the court’s decision and for the support of her legal team and the NDC.
