Justin Frimpong Kodua, General Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has stated that National Democratic Congress flagbearer John Dramani Mahama would struggle to effect significant change within a four-year term.
Kodua expressed confidence that Ghanaians would prefer NPP flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming elections.
Highlighting a common belief that re-election pressures ensure accountability, Kodua emphasized the pivotal choice between Bawumia and Mahama.
He questioned Mahama's potential impact, given his limited term, and noted that President Akufo-Addo had achieved his goals in his eight-year tenure.
Kodua also dismissed Mahama's claim that four years is insufficient to resolve NPP-created challenges.
