NDC Flagbearer John Dramani Mahama has criticized the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) for allegedly prioritizing development in regions that supported them electorally, which he says creates inequality across Ghana.
Speaking in the Oti Region on November 4, Mahama pledged to prioritize projects there, including a regional hospital for Krachi East, if re-elected.
During his tour, Dambai’s Chief, Nana Mprah Besemuna III, also appealed to Mahama to address the area’s development needs, noting past contributions to education and healthcare infrastructure but requesting more focus on a regional hospital.
