President Mahama would climax his 'changing lives, transforming Ghana' tour with a two-day visit to the Volta region.
As part of the visit which begins Wednesday, the president will commission one of the community day Senior High Schools in the Nkwanta North District today and later inspect work on the Hohoe-Pepesu section of the Eastern corridor road project at Jasikan.
He is also expected to hold meetings with regional party executives and MMDCEs at the Regional Residency in Ho Wednesday evening.
Starr News' Volta Regional correspondent, Lambert Atsivor reports President Mahama is also expected to commission the permanent campus of the University of Health and Allied Sciences at Sokode-Lokoe near Ho, Thursday morning, before meeting with members of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs.
The visit will be climaxed with a mammoth rally at the Ho jubilee park, where Mahama will address thousands of party supporters in the region ahead of Saturday's presidential and parliamentary primaries of the party.
