Minority demands answers over GH₵95m judgement debt to be paid to West Blue

The Minority in Parliament is demanding clarification on the GH₵95 million judgment debt awarded to West Blue Consulting following the termination of its contract with the Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA).

GRA boss Julie Essiam confirmed the debt at a Public Accounts Committee hearing.

Committee member Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed is questioning the government's justification for the payment and the legal defense used prior to the award, suggesting the situation reflects mismanagement and financial impropriety.
