The Majority in Parliament has criticized the Minority for demanding Parliamentary approval for every government transaction, calling it unnecessary and detrimental to investor confidence.
The Minority has recently raised concerns about the government's unilateral signing of contracts, including the 5G service deal with NextGen InfranCo, arguing that some of these deals should require parliamentary approval.
However, the Majority Leader disagrees, stating that such demands are outside Parliament's mandate and could harm the economy by deterring investors.
He maintains that these deals do not breach constitutional provisions or require parliamentary approval.
