My appointees will have 30 days to declare their assets – Mahama on fighting corruption

Former President John Dramani Mahama, leader of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has pledged to tackle corruption if re-elected.

Speaking at a recent event, Mahama announced plans to enforce an asset declaration policy, requiring all members of his administration to declare their assets within 30 days of taking office.

He stressed that this move aims to promote transparency and restore public trust in institutions.

Mahama also intends to review public office codes of conduct to strengthen ethical leadership and boost professionalism and efficiency within government.
