NDC not ready for elections – Evans Nimako over demand for audit of voters register

Evans Nimako, Director of Elections for the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has criticized the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for calling for a forensic audit of the voter register, suggesting it reflects the party's lack of readiness for the elections.

Nimako claimed the register is credible and ready for fair elections, accusing the NDC of using the audit demand as an excuse.

This criticism follows the NDC’s concerns about the register’s integrity and their request for an independent audit, which was rejected by the Electoral Commission (EC).
