John Mahama, the NDC flagbearer, has promised to establish a National Apprenticeship Scheme to address unemployment in Ghana.
The scheme will provide vocational training for those who cannot access tertiary education.
Mahama also pledged to establish a Women's Bank to support women in business and implement a 24-hour economy to boost growth. He encouraged party members to protect the ballot and announced that the party's campaign will launch in Tamale on July 27.
The scheme aims to equip individuals with skills to find work and bridge the unemployment gap.
