The ruling New Patriotic Party's (NPP) communication officers in Ghana's Bono Region have declared an indefinite strike, demanding details about the auction of essential equipment, including tipper trucks and graders, by the Bono Regional Coordinating Council.
During a press conference in Sunyani, spokesperson Abubakari Yakubu emphasized that these trucks could have been used to improve regional roads.
The officers seek answers about who authorized the auction and the reasons behind it, and they will not resume media duties until their concerns are addressed.
