Professor Alidu Seidu from the University of Ghana says the New Patriotic Party (NPP) will struggle to project their running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, positively to voters outside the party.
Dr. Prempeh, perceived as arrogant, recently aggravated this image with comments about the country's power issues.
Speaking on JoyNews' Upfront, Seidu questioned if the NPP could alter this perception within six months.
National Organiser Henry Nana Boakye countered, asserting that the party will soon implement strategies to address negative perceptions and promote Dr. Prempeh’s dedication and capability to voters.
