The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has reaffirmed its commitment to preventing the use of vigilante groups during the 2024 elections.
At an event by the National Peace Council, where a committee was inaugurated to address vigilantism and election violence, NPP’s Director of Finance and Administration, William Yamoah, emphasized the party’s trust in state institutions like the police and military.
He highlighted the peaceful internal elections managed by the police as evidence of NPP's dedication to maintaining security through official channels, ensuring a vigilantism-free electoral process.
