The NDC in the Northern Region has accused the Electoral Commission (EC) of covering up misconduct related to the illegal transfer of voters from Tamale to Pusiga.
The party alleges that the EC is obstructing the police investigation and failing to transparently address the issue.
NDC's Northern Regional Secretary, Mohammed Abdul Salam, criticized the EC for inadequately addressing the problem, claiming the actual number of affected cases is higher than reported.
He called for an independent forensic audit to restore public trust, warning that the NDC will continue protests if their concerns are not addressed after the September 17 demonstration.
