Omane Boamah reminds EC to release voter’s register after last Tuesday’s IPAC meeting

Dr. Edward Omane Boamah, NDC's Director of Elections and IT, has urged the Electoral Commission (EC) to honor its promise of releasing the voter’s register to political parties by October 8, 2024.

He stated that timely access to the register is crucial for transparency and fairness ahead of the 2024 general elections.

Dr. Boamah warned that failing to meet this deadline could cause tension and mistrust in the electoral process.

He also called on the EC to improve communication with political parties to prevent delays and confusion before the December 7 elections.
