President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has pledged to enforce laws against vigilantism to ensure Ghana’s December 2024 elections are free, fair, transparent, and credible.
Addressing newly appointed diplomats, he stressed the importance of peace and order during the elections. He warned against subverting the electoral process, emphasizing the government's resolve to uphold the law.
Akufo-Addo called on political parties to respect the democratic process and urged diplomats to promote Ghana's image as a stable democracy, fostering strong international relationships that support Ghana’s democratic aspirations.
