Economist and Political Risk Analyst, Dr. Theo Acheampong, has urged political parties to be transparent about their funding plans for campaign promises ahead of the 2024 general elections.
He highlighted the challenge of limited fiscal space, emphasizing that the incoming government will face constraints in financing their commitments.
Dr. Acheampong stressed the importance of creative approaches to delivering on promises and ensuring they translate into tangible outcomes, especially in areas like governance, poverty reduction, and improving well-being, which are critical given the current economic situation in Ghana.
