Sadique Broni Yeboah, the suspended Assin Central Constituency Secretary of the NDC, has issued a three-day ultimatum to the party to reverse his suspension or face legal action.
Yeboah and the Assin Central Regional Chairman were suspended for their involvement in suspending the constituency’s parliamentary candidate, Nurein Shiabu Migyimah.
The NDC's national leadership intervened, declaring Migyimah's suspension null and void.
Yeboah's lawyers argue procedural irregularities and breach of natural justice, demanding his suspension be rescinded and a fair hearing provided.
Migyimah was suspended over allegations including immoral behavior and anti-party activities, including allegedly impregnating Yeboah's wife.
