The National Democratic Congress (NDC) caucus has criticized the New Patriotic Congress (NPP) for their absence in Parliament on November 7, 2024, leading to an indefinite adjournment by Speaker Alban Bagbin.
The NPP, represented by MP Alexander Afenyo-Markin, accused Bagbin of chaos, which the NDC condemned as disrespectful.
They demanded an apology from Afenyo-Markin, asserting that the Speaker has upheld the integrity of Parliament and deserves respect for his role in safeguarding democracy in Ghana.
