The Mahama 2024 Campaign has issued a warning to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) against removing or obstructing billboards of John Dramani Mahama or National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidates.
This follows an incident where the Chief Executive of the Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA) allegedly pulled down a Mahama billboard.
The campaign team condemned the act as provocative and noted that Alliance Media, which erected the billboard, had legal permission.
They cautioned that further such actions could lead to conflict and urged the NPP to campaign peacefully and respect the advertising rights of others.
