Bawku Central MP Mahama Ayariga has criticized the Supreme Court's decision to stay the execution of Speaker Alban Bagbin's ruling, which declared four parliamentary seats vacant.

Ayariga argued that the court’s intervention is an unconstitutional overreach into parliamentary affairs, violating the separation of powers. He emphasized that the court should focus on declaring constitutionality rather than issuing injunctions against Parliament’s decisions.
