Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, presidential nominee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the 2016 elections, is a tough leader who is able to get things going in times of difficulty, therefore, Ghanaians can trust that he will save the country from the difficulties they are saddled with, Rebecca Akufo-Addo, wife of the NPP flag bearer, has said.
According to her, not only is her husband a tough leader who gets things done, but he is also a leader who is able to withstand criticism and focus on his work, as well as a leader who has respect for the rule of law and human rights.
To that end, she has appealed to Ghanaian voters to vote for Mr Akufo-Addo so that he can win the elections to become the next president of Ghana. This, she said, would see him utilise these qualities to the benefit of all Ghanaians.
Mrs Akufo-Addo wrote on her Facebook page: “Ghana needs a tough leader who is able to get going when the going gets tough. We need a leader who is able to withstand criticism and focus on his work. We need a leader who treats all Ghanaians as his people, supporters and opponents alike. Ghana needs a leader who has respect for the rule of law and human rights. Nana Akufo-Addo embodies these values. My husband has spent his life fighting for all of us to have these rights. Now it is time to vote for him to continue to protect them.”
