The New Patriotic Party (NPP) delegates of Trobu Constituency has endorsed Mr Moses Anim, the incumbent Member of Parliament by popular acclamation to contest the upcoming 2020 general election.
Mr Anim, who stood unopposed would be contesting the election for the third time. He won the 2012 election and was re-elected in 2016 to remain in Parliament.
Mr Albert Attuquaye Bruce, the NPP Chairman for Trobu in an interview with the Ghana News Agency expressed gratitude to the delegates for the love they have shown for the party and the sitting MP by the endorsement.
He urged members of the party to unite and work hard for the NPP to retain power in the 2020 election so that everyone would have the opportunity to serve, adding that; “the MP’s position is not the only place for one to render services.”
“Let us reconcile after this, live in peace and to support President Nana Akufo-Addo to deliver his good policies to move the nation forward for the betterment of all,” he said.
