Nana Kwame Bediako, leader of the New Force political movement, has pledged to revamp Ghana's railway system if elected president.
He plans to build an 8,000-kilometer railway network using domestically produced steel from Ghana's iron ore.
This approach, he says, will save billions in foreign contracts and create a new transportation network, extending to the borders of Togo, Burkina Faso, and Ivory Coast.
Bediako believes Ghana's own resources and skills can make this ambitious vision a reality, transforming the country's logistics and transportation infrastructure.
